To me design is about stories. My creative process is to listen to peoples’ stories and communicate them with design. I have a background in both arts and science which brings a unique vision – I’m interested in things at a cellular/skeletal level. I like to use a minimalist approach. Not only because I believe that ‘less is more’ but I think that a message can be conveyed best with a minimal amount of visual elements. Shapes and lines are asking to be deconstructed and reconstituted into something different which tells a compelling and unfolding story. I am a strategic thinker and will take time to learn and research the core objectives, vision and values of an organisation before thinking about any visual representations. I am also an activist and am interested in graphic design for social impact and telling community stories through visual communication and service design.
